Day 2: Nairobi-Maasai Mara
Our staff will pick you up from the hotel after breakfast and transfer your party to the Wilson Airport to catch a connecting flight to the Maasai Mara. Upon a late morning arrival at the Mara you will be greeted at the airstrip by our guides.
Thereafter, your KISS Safari excursion will continue with a game drive en route to the world-famous Maasai Mara game reserve, arriving at the Mara Sand River in time for lunch. The Sand River is the ideal accommodation for viewing exceptional game in style. The camp is located on a secluded and picturesque site and is designed to replicate in luxury the heyday of exclusive permanent tented camps of the late 1920’s. Once back from the drive, get ready to be wined and dined with an elegant 5-Star dining experience inside or outside the private dining area. Afterwards, it’s time to unwind by the fire and enjoy a drink at the bar and share your safari experiences with your group and others staying at the camp.

Mara-Serengeti

This is the most famous of Tanzania’s National Parks and is known for its large amount of grazing mammals, including 1.5 million wildebeest. The Serengeti is derived from the Maasai word Serengeti, which means “wide open space.”

Our game drives will cover the varied habitats and ecosystem of the Serengeti. Day 7: Serengeti – Ngorongoro
On Day 7 of your KISS safari you will have an early morning breakfast and then depart to Ngorongoro National Park via Olduvai Gorge, one of the most important paleoanthropological sites in the world, proven invaluable in furthering our understanding of early human evolution. This is the area where the first early human species lived approximately 1.9 million years ago. You will arrive at the Ngorongoro-Oldeani Mountain Lodge, where you will have lunch and time to relax before your afternoon game drive in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, referred to by many as the eighth wonder of the world.

The main feature of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. Many small springs can be found around the crater’s floor, which are important water sources for the animals and inhabited by hippopotamus, elephants, lions and many other animals.

Day 9: Ngorongoro – Arusha – Amboseli
Your KISS Safari will depart from the hotel after breakfast. From there your guide will drive you to the Tanzanian/Kenyan border for immigration procedures and a change of vehicles.
After crossing the border, your party will head to Amboseli National Park where you will be driven to Tortilis Camp, your accommodations for the next three (3) nights. Check in and have a quick lunch, then head out for an afternoon game drive at Amboseli National Park, located at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro. This majestic dormant volcano is the reason Amboseli is one of Kenya’s most popular national parks. The snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro rising above the clouds will dominate every aspect of your Amboseli experience.
During your stay at Tortilis Camp, a 5-star accommodation situated on lush lands with a majestic backdrop of Africa’s snow-capped Kilimanjaro, you can relax and enjoy your favorite beverage with a view of a small pond that different animal species wander to in order to catch a drink.

This region offers one of the best wildlife-viewing experiences in the world to see African wildlife because the vegetation is sparse due to the long, dry months. The park’s protected area is home to the African bush elephant, Cape buffalo, impala, lion, cheetah, spotted hyena, Masai giraffe, Grant’s zebra, blue wildebeest, and over 400 species of birds.

On the final day of your KISS Safari experience, you will enjoy an early breakfast and then depart to the airstrip for an intra air flight back to Nairobi. Once in Nairobi, you will be met by your KISS Guide, who will drive you for a short visit to either the Giraffe Centre, a nature sanctuary to protect endangered giraffes, or to The David Sheldrick Elephant & Rhino Orphanage, where veterinary assistance is provided for animals in need of hand-rearing until they are ultimately able to enjoy a good quality of life in the wild.
After your visit, your party will be driven to the world-famous The Carnivore Restaurant to enjoy lunch on us as a token of our appreciation to you! The Carnivore is justifiably referred to as Africa’s Greatest eating experience and has been rated among the world’s 50 best restaurants by many publications.
Afterwards, depending on your international departure time and if you desire, there still may be time to visit the Karen Blixen Museum and/or relax and freshen up in a day room at a local hotel before your flight back home.
