After your arrival, you will be met by your KISS guide and driven to The Tortilis Camp, your accommodations for the next three (3) nights. Once there, you will check in, have a quick lunch, and then head out for an afternoon game drive through Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya’s most popular National Parks located at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro. The snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro rising above the clouds is guaranteed to dominate every aspect of your Amboseli experience. It is here where you will most likely begin snapping many of the keepsake pictures you will cherish for a lifetime.
In addition to being situated on lush lands with a majestic backdrop of Africa’s snow-capped Kilimanjaro, Tortilis Camp offers 5-star accommodations for you to enjoy your stay to the fullest.

Days 3 and 4:
Amboseli National Park
Your KISS Safari experience continues the next two (2) days after breakfast and lunch with morning and late afternoon game drives into the park that’s most famous for being the best place in the world to get close to free-ranging elephants. In addition, the park offers one of the best wildlife-viewing experiences in the world to see African wildlife because the vegetation is sparse due to the region’s long, dry months. The park’s protected area is home to African bush elephant, Cape buffalo, impala, lion, cheetah, spotted hyena, hippo, alligator, Masai giraffe, Grant’s zebra, blue wildebeest, and over 400 species of birds.
In addition to your game drives, if you wish, you will have the opportunity to visit a Maasai Tribe and their village and experience a way of life guided by age-old customs and a semi-nomadic lifestyle. There will be an additional fee that will be paid to the Tribe in order to enter the village.
Once back at the lodge, enjoy your favorite beverage looking out over a watering hole as animals take their turns visiting the pond. The massive Kilimanjaro is the backdrop.

Day 5: Amboseli – Maasai Mara
After breakfast your KISS Safari Guide will pick you up and transport your party to the airstrip in Amboseli. Upon arrival, you will board an intra-air flight back to Nairobi where your party will make connections for another short ride to the world-famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve. You will arrive at Mara Serena Lodge in time for lunch and afterwards you will have time to relax, work out, take a quick swim, or get pampered at the SPA. Later, your party will enjoy another afternoon game drive in the reserve where more memorable adventures await you.
Main destination: Serengeti National Park
• Accommodation: Mara Serena Lodge
• Meals & drinks: All meals included. Alcoholic drinks not included.
Day 6: Maasai Mara
After breakfast your KISS Safari guide will escort you back into the Maasai Mara where your wildlife spectacular experience continues. It is here, with the help of your Kiss Safari guide, that you will have a great chance to find all the “Big Five” animals: lion, leopard, elephant, cape buffalo, and rhinoceros. In addition, you will be able to find what is called the world’s most dangerous animal, the hippo, as well as the African crocodile in large groups along the river areas.
After your morning drive, it will be time to head back to the lodge in time for lunch and to relax before another late-afternoon game drive to experience the animals and their changed behaviors at day’s end. Afterwards, it’s back to the lodge for dinner and time to enjoy the scheduled nightly activities provided by the lodge.
Overnight stay at the Mara Serena Lodge
Day 7: Maasai Mara – Sand River Region
Your safari experience will continue with an early breakfast at the Mara Serena followed by an early morning drive to the Sand River Maasai Mara Region. You will check into the Sand River Mara, your 5-Star accommodations for the next three (3) days. Even the fussiest safari enthusiast will agree that The Sand River Mara offers an exceptional standard of service and a chosen location which provides for optimal access to the wildlife.
Once set, ready yourself for a wonderful lunch and time to relax and unwind followed by an afternoon game drive back into the Mara. This area of the Mara is globally famous for its exceptional population of lions, leopards, and cheetahs, and the annual migration of zebra, Thompson’s gazelle, and wildebeest to and from the adjacent Serengeti every year from July to October, known as The Great Migration.
Once back from the drive, get ready to be wined and dined with an elegant 5-Star dining experience in the private dining area or along the Sand River. Afterwards, it’s time to unwind by the fire, enjoy a drink at the bar, and share your safari experiences with your group or with others staying at the camp.
Main destination: Sand River Region
• Accommodation: Sand River-Mara
• Meals & drinks: All meals included. Alcoholic drinks not included.
Days 8 and 9: Maasai Mara – Northern Extension of Mara
Your KISS Safari continues with morning and afternoon game drives to the Northern extension of the Serengeti and its rolling plains. It is here where you may be lucky, depending on the time of the year and the location of the migration, to experience East Africa’s annual Great Migration. Every year, millions of zebra, wildebeest and other antelope migrate across these mighty plains in search of better grazing. To be able to witness this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for every safari enthusiast.
You won’t be disappointed because, even though you may not experience the Great Migration, you will be guaranteed to see hundreds of plains’ game together with their predators that feed on them. This area, year round, is where one will gain an appreciation of and experience the true meaning of The Circle of Life. Once back at the camp after an incredible day on the plains, it’s time to unwind and enjoy dinner and the peace and serenity.

Day 10: Maasai Mara – Nairobi (Departure)
On the final day on your KISS Safari you will enjoy an early breakfast and then depart to the airstrip for an intra-air flight back to Nairobi. Once in Nairobi, you will be met by your KISS Guide who will drive you for a short visit to either the Giraffe Centre, a nature sanctuary to protect endangered giraffes, or to The David Shedrick Elephant & Rhino Orphanage, where veterinary assistance is provided for animals in need of hand-rearing until they are ultimately able to enjoy a quality of life in the wild.
After your visit, your party will be driven to the world-famous The Carnivore Restaurant to enjoy lunch on us as a token of our appreciation to you! The Carnivore is justifiably referred to as Africa’s Greatest eating experience and has been rated among the world’s 50 best restaurants by many publications.
Afterwards, depending on your international departure time and if you desire, there still may be time to visit the Karen Blixen Museum and/or relax and freshen up in a day room at a local hotel before your flight back home.
